Africa Millennium Development Network
Who we are
Africa Millennium Development Network was created in the year 2008 and registered with the government same year. Abbreviated AFRINET, the organization works in hard-to-reach communities in Meme and Kupe Muanenguba Division helping the poorest of the poor communities to improve their livelihood and good hygiene practices (WASH) supported by Water Collective and Dig Deepwater – USA. In the same line, the organization engaged in Biodiversity Conservation and Education projects.

In 2020, Biodiversity Conservation and Education were given greater attention due to the notorious, abusive and unsustainable exploitation of both fauna flora resources in the Bakossi National Park. AFRINET’s intervention attracted the signing of a Collaborative Agreement between the Program for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources – South West on one hand and Africa Millennium Development Network on the other hand. The Bakossi National Park is made up of 36 hard-to-reach communities divided into 04 clusters. AFRINET has been assigned to manage 02 clusters that make up (North East 12 villages and South East 08 villages) 22 villages. Most of these communities struggle to survive due to inadequate health service, poor road network and internet services. Evacuation of agricultural products in the rainy season becomes and obstacles despite abundant yields
